Launched in 2001 by the same team that created the hugely successful Holiday Property Bond (HPB) in 1983, Stately Holiday Homes, also trading as Countryside Holiday Homes, provides a unique opportunity to experience peace and tranquillity in a range of well appointed and furnished houses, cottages and apartments, not only within the grounds of stately homes, landed estates and country houses, but in other selected rural locations as well.

Our expanding portfolio offers you the chance to enjoy holidays in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy in areas of outstanding natural beauty or considerable historical interest, some on country estates and others in rural locations, some of which have remained largely undisturbed by modern development.

Our owners have gone to great lengths, and expense, to convert and equip their properties for you to a high specification.  The large range of properties available includes gatehouses, converted stables, lodges, village houses, coach houses, purpose built wings and apartments within the body of the main house and in some cases the entirety of a substantial house itself.

As well as weekly bookings, weekend and mid week short breaks are also available to enable you to take advantage of the changing seasons and enjoy a few days far from the madding crowd.

Some of our properties provide an eclectic mix of styles, ranging from very traditional to somewhat eccentric, and others a modern range of furnishings and fitments interspersed with antique and period furniture and fine pictures.  You can expect an above average standard of furnishing and fittings.  All are fully furnished and heated either centrally or by night storage.  The majority have fully fitted kitchens equipped with every modern appliance.  On your arrival, they will all be clean, warm, with the beds made up and towels provided.  In fact, they offer almost everything you should need for a truly relaxing holiday in areas of the unspoilt countryside
