View of Bardmony House |
The original part of Bardmony House was built in the 14th Century and at that time was attached to the monastery at Coupar Angus and served as a staging post for monks travelling through the area. Thereafter, it formed part of one of Scotland’s most significant estates. Over the years the house has been improved and restored by successive generations. The Georgian West Wing extension of Bardmony House was rebuilt and restored in the early 1970s and it is this wing that provides very comfortable and spacious centrally heated accommodation for self-catering holidays.
