Hareley Farm

Hedgerows and pasture form a patchwork of fields. Buzzards, skylarks and red kites soar above the farm and butterflies dance over meadows filled with wild flowers.

Hareley Barn, Grade II listed, was built in the 16th Century from stone quarried on the farm and has an English Tourist Board 4-star grading. It has been sensitively restored, preserving the hayrack and cattle stall as well as a wealth of wooden beams. Full gas central heating and the woodburning stove ensure a cosy welcome all year.

Sitting Room

 

The spacious, airy sitting room, with dining area has a welcoming log burning stove, Freeview digital television, DVD, video and stereo/CD player. It has full length glass windows and doors enabling wonderful views of open countryside.

Dining Area	Kitchen

The kitchen has a twin oven, 4 hob electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator with small freezer compartment. There is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier.

Ensuite Bathroom	Double Bedroom

1 King Size double with en suite bathroom and 1 twin bedroom.  A separate bathroom has a walk in shower and spa bath.  Both bedrooms have a single sofa bed, suitable for an additional child up to the age of 10.

Playground

Outside: Guests have the sole use of sitting out and barbecue area with grassed playground overlooking the valley. The playground is only available April - Mid October being very muddy during the autumn and winter. There are twenty acres of pasture and woodland with a stream running through them. Entry to some areas of the farm may be restricted due to haymaking or livestock needs.

Please note that there are steep banks and an unfenced stream. Young children should be kept under supervision.

Landscape View

A complimentary pack of semi-skimmed milk, butter and eggs is supplied. Home produced eggs, vegetables, fruit, herbs and salads are available for sale in season.

Car parking: There is off road parking immediately outside the Barn and the level access and wide doorways make it suitable for less able guests. A ramp from the door also makes this property wheelchair friendly.
