Headland View Cottage is a private link-detached property commanding a prominent cliff top position ¼ mile above the secluded sandy cove of Portmellon, about a mile from the working fishing village of Mevagissey on the south coast of Cornwall. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of a working farm the Coastal Footpath is easily accessible. Headland View Cottage lies just 3 miles from the Lost Gardens of Heligan and 10 miles from The Eden Project.

The property enjoys stunning sea views from the sitting room, veranda, kitchen, bedrooms and garden. Inside, the accommodation is spacious and has been recently furnished to an attractive standard. With 2 en-suite bedrooms it is equally suited to 2 adult couples or a family with older children. The nearest pub is a 10 minute walk downhill in Portmellon. (Please note that the pub is currently closed until the beginning of March). There is a good choice of dining pubs and restaurants in Mevagissey which is a 30 minute walk. The owners of Headland View live next door. Guest privacy will be respected at all times.

Sleeps 4 - 2 bedrooms - 2 shower rooms

Entrance into spacious hallway. Well equipped kitchen with ceramic hob on central island, double oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. Dining room with seating for up to 6 guests. Steps down from hall on ground level to 2 bedrooms with sea views, one with a 5' double bed, the other a twin with 3' beds. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV/DVD and en-suite shower room with wc. Steps lead from the hall up to the sitting room with LCD TV, DVD player, book and DVD library, CD player and wood burning stove.

You can enjoy the breathtaking sea views from the comfort of the sofa or from the garden furniture on the veranda via a door from the sitting room. Steps lead down from the veranda to a private lawned garden with BBQ and pond.

By mutual arrangement, guests have complimentary use of a neighbour's indoor heated pool during their stay, which is shared & pre-booking is essential.

Please note that the property is unsuitable for toddlers due to steps and pond.
