"The weather, for which no one can be blamed, was almost unbearably hot and sticky the first three days and very wet for the rest but Gayton Hall was a perfect foil or antidote."

"Absolutely lovely - the gardens were gorgeous and the pool was great. So many places to visit! Wonderful!"
Mrs J
"Do visit the seal colonies off Blakeney Point - the boat trip is wonderful. The seals are very photogenic, one even clapped!"
Mrs J
"Tranquility itself, beautiful gardens and birdlife. The place to be if you are a nature lover. Titchwell for a good walk down to the sea with plenty of birdlife on the way. Snettisham Park for a Deer safari, good fun for all the family. Good food to be found in the local Crown Inn in Gayton Village, only a five minute walk away. Hope to be back to explore more."
Mrs H
"Five minutes pleasant stroll through the grounds and down the road to a lovely country pub with garden tables and chairs for sitting over pre-dinner drinks. There is also a bbq area in the grounds of Gayton Hall for the use of visitors to this property. Hens, chickens and friendly dogs all added charm."

"RSPB sites Titchwell (excellent) and Snettisham (interesting) are both in easy reach. The Village has good amenities including The Crown and a paper shop in easy walking distance."

"We took a short break at very short notice and we were particularly pleased. The accommodation and the facilities, particularly in the kitchen were excellent. Clean, comfortable and warm beds and a nice large lounge with everything we needed."
