"This was our first experience of both a tenancy and a Stately Homes property. We would like to pass on our congratulations on this particular property, which was really delightfully situated, extremely well appointed and very comfortable. We had very good weather and appreciated the peace and quiet of the many acres of Glanusk Park where we were free to stroll throughout the extensive grounds through which flows the river Usk."
Mrs H
"Do visit some of the canals in the area, very pleasant to walk beside. Also recommend a short drive to Tretower Court nearby, which is well worth a visit. Crickhowell, the nearest country town has a good local produce on sale in a number of shops. Thoroughly recommend this property."
Mrs H
"Lovely walks alongside canal & river for those who cannot manage steep climbs."
Mr & Mrs D J B
"Lots to do in the area, particularly if the weather is good. Lots of information in the property. Owners are friendly and staffing estate office were very accommodating. We would recommend Glanusk Park to anyone. Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting. Many local attractions – too numerous to mention, but for a trip further a field, the museum of welsh life near Cardiff is well worth a visit and it’s free!"
Mr & Mrs M F
"No aspects of the property were disappointing at all; everything excelled what we had expected and was of an extremely high standard. Brecon is a lovely town with good facilities and a lovely Chinese takeaway! Walks around the immediate area are very satisfying even if very short, there is plenty to see without walking for miles. Plus the higher part of the fireplace is a great place to warm some red wine!"
Miss S H
"Blaengson – Big Pit – a must for anyone interested in unusual history – and it’s free!! Hay In Wye for book enthusiasts. Wonderful walks everywhere."
